    Toyota's Pallet Jack Click-to-Creep Feature

    Last updated 1 year ago

No matter how big or small your warehouse operations are, there’s sure to be a number of confined spaces that your pallet jack operators must deal with. In these tight spaces, precision maneuvers are a must. Fortunately, this is where Toyota’s innovative Click-to-Creep feature comes in handy.

This video demonstrates how Toyota’s Click-to-Creep feature gives your pallet jack operators increased control and maneuverability in confined spaces. When Click-to-Creep is activated, the pallet jack has a maximum travel speed of 1 mph. This ensures that the operator cannot accidently accelerate the pallet jack into a wall or beam.

Click-to-Creep is available on Toyota Pallet Jack models 7HBW23 and 7BWS10.13. If you would like to learn more about the Click-to-Creep feature on these models, contact Liftow Limited. Liftow is the largest Toyota dealership in North America, specializing in the sale and service of new and used Toyota lift trucks, pallet jacks, stock pickers, and more. Want to Save Your Workers' Backs? Get a Forklift!

    Last updated 1 year ago

Because there is a direct relationship between productivity and the health of your workforce, it’s important that you take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of your employees. In most cases, keeping your employees healthy is simply a matter of providing them with the equipment they need to complete the task at hand. If that task happens to involve lifting and material handling then a forklift is the most helpful piece of equipment you can buy.

Here are just a few of the ways that a forklift will ensure the health and safety of your employees:

    • Protection from Heavy Lifting

Even with the correct lifting techniques and safety equipment, heavy lifting can be extremely dangerous. In addition to putting themselves at risk of severe back injury, workers who perform heavy lifting also risk broken bones or severed extremities as a result of dropping heavy boxes on themselves. Fortunately, a forklift eliminates the need for manual heavy lifting.

    • No Back Strain

Constant bending and stretching is an easy way for your employees to injure their backs, especially when they are lifting and moving heavy boxes or equipment. One of the benefits of a forklift, then, is that it minimizes the amount of strain placed on your workers’ backs.

    • Reduced Fatigue

The mental and physical fatigue caused by manual lifting puts your workers at a higher risk of injury. For one, mental fatigue causes workers to inadvertently put themselves in dangerous positions that can result in bodily harm. Physical fatigue, on the other hand, can weaken the body and make your employees more susceptible to injury. So if you want to reduce worker fatigue, let a forklift do the heavy lifting.

Liftow Limited is committed to helping you improve productivity and worker safety by providing the most exceptional material handling equipment, products, and training.
